Psychology Program, From Global Universities

HNC Counselling & Applied Psychology introduces students to the fundamentals of human behaviour, emotions, and mental wellbeing. Students develop core skills in communication, active listening, and basic counselling, along with ethical awareness. It provides a strong foundation for progression to higher studies in counselling or psychology.

At HND Counselling & Applied Psychology level, students gain advanced understanding of psychological theories, counselling methods, and mental health practice, applying learning through case studies and practical activities. They develop strong skills in client communication, ethical decision-making, assessment, and emotional support, preparing for progression to a degree in counselling, psychology, or related fields.

On successful completion of the HND, students transfer to one of our international partner institutions and complete the final two years of study to be awarded a full international bachelor’s degree. Available degree options include Psychology, Applied Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Clinical and Mental Health Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and Behavioural Sciences.

In Year 4, students complete their final year of study at the university and graduate with a full international bachelor’s degree in psychology.

Upon graduation, students receive a full international degree and are eligible for an 18–24 month post-study work visa, allowing them to stay and seek employment. This visa permits full-time work and does not require employer sponsorship.
